Financial Need Scholarships
Financial need scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate financial hardship. These scholarships are based on the FAFSA, which collects information about your family’s income and assets. Some of the most common financial need scholarships include the Pell Grant, the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), and the Federal Work-Study Program.
To be eligible for a financial need scholarship, you must file the FAFSA. You should also be aware of the income and asset limits for each scholarship.
Extracurricular Activity Scholarships
Extracurricular activity scholarships are awarded to students who are involved in extracurricular activities. These scholarships can be based on a variety of factors, such as athletic ability, musical talent, or community service. Some of the most common extracurricular activity scholarships include the athletic scholarship, the music scholarship, and the community service scholarship.
